Cashmere Care
Cashmere Rules
No heat. No agitation. Wash after third or fourth wear. Store clean. Gently brush pills and lint away with de-pilling brush or sweater rake as needed.
Hand Wash Instructions
Hand wash in Cold/tepid water using 1 to 2 teaspoons of a mild eco detergent, wool wash or organic baby shampoo. Do not wring or twist your cashmere. Instead, gently press with flat hands against the basin or sink. Repeat and rinse till clear. Roll in clean towel to remove excess water. Lay flat to dry. Warning: Any form of heat will shrink cashmere.
Front-load Washing Machine without an Agitator Bar
You may wash your cashmere on the Hand Wash Cycle, Low Agitation, in cold water. Lay flat to dry.
Note - Dry cleaning is an option but not preferred.
